Lopping off her bun earlier this week, Miley has had all sorts of reactions and after getting the seal of approval from his Expendables 2 castmate Jean Claude Van Damme, it sounds like Liam is pretty keen on her new do.

Don’t get us wrong, we don’t think boyfriends should have any say in what we want to do with our hair – even if we did fancy wearing it in a gelled up, Jedward type do for the next year or two – but we were still wondering what Liam’s reaction had been to the whole thing.

But being the perfect boyfriend that he is, it sounds like whatever makes her happy makes Liam positively ecstatic -  according to Miley, anyway.

Tweeting back a fan who had also been wondering, Miley cleared a few things up, saying: “he loves it :) last night he said I look the happiest he’s seen me in a while :) he likes seeing my eyes more.” [sic]

Dawww, isn’t that sweet?

Then again, perhaps he just hasn’t noticed any difference yet. That’s generally our experience with boyfriends, anyway. What do you think about all this?
