While basking in the glow of his Emmy win, Jon Cryer took a second to pay lip service to the most recent tabloid-friendly addition to Two and a Half Men: Miley Cyrus.

The singer-actress will guest star on two episodes during the show’s upcoming tenth season. She’ll be playing Missi, a family friend of Ashton Kutcher‘s character Walden who comes to visit and develops a relationship with Jake (Angus T. Jones), who is home from the Army.

“Miley brought it, she was fantastic,” Cryer said backstage at the 2012 Emmys. He added that her role was one of a “motormouth” who had huge chunks of dialogue.

“She was lovely,” he added.

He also weighed in on her “controversial” haircut. “I lay on the side of I love it!” he enthused. “I think she looks fantastic.”
